The company was also second on the list of Biggest % Gainers, following Critical Therapeutics(CRTX Quote). The biopharmaceutical company jumped 61% after the Food and Drug Administration approved Perforomist, a treatment for emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Rising on Unusual Volume: Synalloy(SYNL Quote) shares were up 6.5% on more than four times normal trading, on no major news. Biggest % Losers: Source Interlink(SORC Quote) sank to a 52-week low of $5.79 after agreeing to buy Primedia's(PRM Quote) portfolio of enthusiast magazines for $1.2 billion in cash. 52-Week Lows: Whole Foods Market(WFMI Quote) dipped to $39.35, a 52-week low, after Jim Cramer called it "overvalued" on CNBC's "Stop Trading" segment. Cramer said Whole Foods had "lost the benefit of the doubt," given its huge price-to-earnings multiples. Latest Activist Situations: Daniel Loeb's Third Point disclosed an 8.7% stake in Candela(CLZR Quote), which makes laser- and light-based medical devices.
