TheStreet.com TV Recap: Anticipating Sector Rotation

Stock quotes in this article: FCX , NOK , TXN , QCOM , MHS , CAH , VAS , CLF , FWLT , RL

Every day people go into the market and witness a different group being taken up, Jim Cramer said in a TheStreet.com TV Web video Monday.

On Friday, the metals were taken up, in part because of speculation that a deal would take place last weekend. The deal, however, did not occur.

"I have to tell you that I have been so impressed with this market" for something that others may regard as being its narrowness, but what Cramer regards as its diversity, he said.

On Thursday, it was the drug stocks that were rallying again, because of speculation on deals. Today the autos are going up. "This is important because as each sector comes into the limelight, it catches up with other sectors," Cramer said. "Tomorrow should be technology."

Market players are starting to see a nascent move in the tech sector today because of Nokia's (NOK Quote) news on how robust the handset market it. This means Texas Instruments (TXN Quote) should experience a bump up tomorrow and Qualcomm (QCOM Quote) should finally be able to break out from $45 to $47, he said.

"When we see these rolling rotations, what they do is make you realize that if you can anticipate the next one, you're going to do very well," Cramer said.
