Stocks Hitting New Highs, New Lows

Arrow International(ARRO), which makes catheters and other critical and cardiac care products, headed the Rising on Unusual Volume list, after acknowledging it was considering strategic alternatives, including a possible sale.

Finally, National Semiconductor(NSM) topped the list of Latest Activist Situations, after Relational Investors disclosed it had upped its stake in the company.
