Stockpickr: Yahoo's Volume Stands Out

Reports that Microsoft (MSFT) was in talks with Yahoo! (YHOO) about a possible $50 billion merger catapulted the Internet giant's shares nearly 10% Friday. It also placed Yahoo! near the top of Stockpickr's stocks Rising on Unusual Volume.

Walt Disney (DIS) topped Stocks with Unusual Option Activity. The Mouse House is set to report earnings Tuesday.

Shares of 21st Century Holding (TCHC) plunged 45% Friday after it slashed its full-year outlook. That gave it the lead position on the list of 52-Week Lows and Biggest Percentage Losers.

Reuters (RTRSY), meanwhile, acknowledged it had been approached about a possible buyout, landing the financial news company atop the list of 52-Week Highs and second to Mobility Electronics (MOBE) on the Biggest Percentage Gainers list.

Finally, Factory Card & Party Outlet (FCPO) topped the list of Latest Activist Situations, after Midwood Capital, a 7.8% shareholder, suggested late Thursday that the company's board of directors would benefit from increased shareholder representation.
