Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! Buy Brunswick

Stock quotes in this article: BC

Buy Brunswick (BC Quote), Jim Cramer said Thursday on CNBC's Stop Trading! segment.

Cramer, interviewing CEO Dustan McCoy, says thin supply of in-demand stocks is leading to outsize gains, particularly when solid companies beat reduced expectations.

Such is the case with Brunswick, the Lake Forest, Ill., boating company, Cramer said. Shares rose $3.25 Thursday afternoon to $33.96.

Cramer said the key in cases such as Brunswick's is to buy on the first-day run-up because so far this earnings season similar rallies "haven't been repealed."

Cramer also nodded to the company's progress in being able to turn a profit and pay down debt even in a quarter when U.S. sales were soft.
