Dykstra: Checking Up On Amdocs' Health

Lenny Dykstra

This morning I would like to focus on two of my picks that brought a serious smile to my face this morning: Comcast(CMCSA Quote - Cramer on CMCSA - Stock Picks) and Halliburton(HAL Quote - Cramer on HAL - Stock Picks).

Comcast reported earnings Thursday morning with the following good news: Its net income surged 80%. In my column on Feb. 7, I wrote that I was buying the Comcast July 35 calls (CCQGG) for $8.60 or better. At the time, Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and CEO of Comcast, had said, "2006 was simply our best year ever."

But instead of going up, Comcast's stock was pummeled and then had an uncommon 3-for-2 stock split. The operators then went to work -- and trust me, they really went to work. It was almost unbelievable what happened to a company that had just reported record results.

So I got in the trenches and did my homework so that I would have the proper buy levels when the time came to add to the position. My team decided on the next buy levels, so that I was in position to bring my overall cost down by buying at technically sound levels.

Between those additional buys and the 3-for-2 split, I now control 4,500 shares, and there is a very good chance that I, and others who hung in there, will get filled off of today's open. I am estimating at least a $5,000 win, because I followed the rules.

Also, look for Halliburton to open higher as well. King Hal blew away the number too!
