The SPDR S&P Pharmaceuticals (XPH Quote) was also rising. Holding Mylan Laboratories (MYL Quote) was recently up 5% despite a federal court ruling that prevents it from selling its own version of an epilepsy drug. The ETF was adding 50 cents, or 1.5%, to $34.42. On the other hand, the Broadband HOLDRs (BDH Quote) ETF was one of the biggest losers. Holding Motorola (MOT Quote) was shedding 6.6% a day after saying that it would post a first-quarter loss and fall short of analysts' sales targets by a wide margin. The ETF was giving back 38 cents, or 2.4%, to $15.86. Motorola's weakness spilled over into semiconductor names, dragging related ETFs lower. The PowerShares Dynamic Semiconductors (PSI Quote) was losing 1.4% to $18.18. The iShares Goldman Sachs Semiconductor (IGW Quote) was down 1.4% to $61.40, and the SPDR Semiconductor (XSD Quote) ETF eased 1.2% to $49.70.
