Treasuries Little Changed
Treasury prices were little changed late Friday as the latest economic data didn't appear to sway traders one way or the other in advance of next week's Federal Reserve meeting.
The 30-year bond was off 1/32 in price to 100 27/32, yielding 4.70%, and the 10-year note was slipping 2/32 to 100 20/32, yielding 4.55%. Yields and prices move in opposite directions. On the shorter end, the two-year note was down 1/32 to 100 9/32, yielding 4.59%, and the three-year was lower by 1/32 to 100 21/32, yielding 4.50%. The five-year was also shedding about 1/32 to 100 22/32 and yielding 4.47%. In the currency market, the dollar was uniformly weaker, dropping against the euro, the yen, the pound and the Swiss franc.- Loading Comments...
