Friday's Health Winners & Losers
CV Therapeutics (CVTX) said late Thursday that it had a narrower fourth-quarter loss than expected, while revenue jumped past targets. The stock was recently adding 76 cents, or 6.1%, to $13.15.
Monogram Biosciences (MGRM) was higher after reporting a fourth-quarter loss that narrowed from a year ago and was in line with expectations. Monogram was adding 7 cents, or 4%, to $1.83.
Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) was trading lower a day after the company announced it will sell $17.6 million of convertible preferred stock and warrants. Cell Therapeutics was losing 6 cents, or 3.7%, to $1.57.
