Tiffany's has recently introduced its new line of sterling silver "lock charms." These functioning locks click on to a necklace, bracelet, handbag or other accessory, and allow you to be as creative as you want to be.

Designs include individual letters or numbers to write your personal message, as well as heart and round locks ready for engraving.

Tiffany's selection of 18K gold and platinum charms can truly make it a Valentine's Day to remember, and also allow buyers to indulge their more whimsical sides. Some of these stunning pieces are embellished with diamonds and tiny gemstones, and have moving parts.

Among a myriad of choices is a champagne bucket with ice crafted from that other "ice," ($925), a rocking horse wearing a diamond saddle ($1,850), a suitcase that opens, with diamonds and blue and pink sapphires on its surface ($1,100), a camera with a rotating lens encrusted with diamonds ($1,400), and a taxi with moving wheels ($1,400).

Charms can also reflect the refined elegance of their creators. The signature "Return to Tiffany's" heart is a familiar sight on the necks and wrists of well dressed women, and Tiffany icons including its Bow Box and Atlas Cube are available in 18K gold and as sterling silver lock charms.
