Amdocs (DOX) slipped after signing an agreement to acquire SigValue Technologies. Amdocs currently owns 14% of SigValue's capital stock and will buy the rest for around $54 million in cash. The stock was losing 1% to $38.38. CheckFree (CKFR) plans to buy Carreker (CANI) for $8.05 a share. The total purchase price is about $206 million. CheckFree was up 0.1% to $40.19, and Carreker was adding 3.4% to $7.90. KongZhong (KONG) was up after saying it named Nick Yang, co-founder and president of the company, to serve as acting chief financial officer. The company is currently searching for a full-time CFO. Additionally, Vice President of Marketing Qingyuan Fang is resigning effective Jan. 15. Shares were adding 0.4% to $9.80. Millennium Cell (MCEL) fell after saying it acquired all of the remaining shares of Gecko Energy Technologies. The stock was off 4.2% to 90 cents. Shares of Miva (MIVA) jumped 18% after the company disclosed an ad deal with Google(GOOG). Miva, which provides marketing services to online merchants, will exclusively use Google's WebSearch and AdSense services for certain Web sites and applications. Miva and its subsidiaries will generate revenues when consumers click through listings to Google advertisers' Web sites. Shares of Miva were up 62 cents to $4. Rambus (RMBS) and Qimonda (QI) advanced after the companies signed a memory chip licensing agreement. Qimonda signed a technology license agreement for Rambus' XDR memory interface system, which will be implemented in Qimonda's processes for applications such as game consoles, digital televisions and PC graphics. Shares of Rambus were up 68 cents, or 3.6%, to $19.61; Qimonda shares rose 59 cents, or 3.4%, to $18.10.TheStreet Premium Services
