On the tech side, he mentioned Xilinx (XLNX Quote), National Semiconductor (NSM Quote), Oracle (ORCL Quote) and SAP (SAP Quote) as all performing poorly.

Despite that, "I still think tech is the place to go because you have a data point," Cramer said, adding that he believes it will be a "gadget Christmas."

Technology as a whole is still not necessarily right, Cramer said, although he still called it the "go-to group" right now. He said he is monitoring Research In Motion (RIMM Quote) now.
