Medco Health Solutions(MHS Quote - Cramer on MHS - Stock Picks) appointed Tommy Thompson, the former Department of Health and Human Services secretary, as a member of its board of directors.
According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thompson will become a Class I director and an independent member of the board's corporate governance and nominating committee effective Dec. 13. His term will expire at the company's 2007 annual shareholder meeting. Shares of Medco dipped 5 cents to $56.05.
