ChoicePoint(CPS), a provider of identification and credential verification services, named Carol A. DiBattiste as general counsel and chief privacy officer.
DiBattiste, a former federal prosecutor and executive with the U.S. Department of Justice, has served as the company's chief credentialing, compliance and privacy officer since April 2005, the Alpharetta, Ga.-based company said "Carol's expertise and leadership has been invaluable as we built our expanded credentialing and compliance functions as well as our expanded privacy policies this past year," ChoicePoint said.
