Deluxe Taps CFO

Check printer Deluxe said Thursday that it hired Richard S. Greene as its chief financial officer. He will succeed Terry Peterson, who has been serving as interim CFO since May.

Greene, who joins Deluxe from Covalence Specialty Materials, where he served as CFO, will assume his new position Oct. 2.

"We are very pleased to have found a CFO with Rick's diverse abilities and experiences," the Shore View, Minn.-based company said.

The company's shares were down a penny at $18.10 Thursday.
