Summit Bank (SBGA Quote) surged on word it would be acquired by UCBH Holdings (UCBH Quote) for $175.5 million. Summit was jumping $6.27, or 39%, to $22.37. UCBH was losing 4.4% to $17.26.

Zareba Systems (ZRBA Quote) was advancing following the company's latest quarterly report. Fourth-quarter revenue rose 9.4% from a year ago to $12.4 million, and the company earned $774,000, or 31 cents a share, compared with last year's $674,000, or 27 cents a share. Zareba's shares were higher by 80 cents, or 21.2%, to $4.59.

Hyperdynamics (HDY Quote) was climbing on word the company has completed negotiations for a new production-sharing agreement in Guinea. Hyperdynamics was adding 34 cents, or 18.8%, to $2.15.

24/7 Real Media (TFSM Quote) was under pressure following cautious guidance from Yahoo! (YHOO Quote). The Yahoo! news was weighing on the Internet sector, and 24/7, which offers services and software for the online advertising industry, was dropping $1.02, or 10.7%, to $8.52.

Shares of Omnova Solutions (OMN Quote) were falling a day after the company reported that even though net income advanced, it fell short of Wall Street's estimates. The company earned $3.3 million, or 8 cents a share, for the third quarter ended Aug. 31, but the consensus forecast called for a profit of 12 cents. Last year, Omnova earned $1.4 million, or 3 cents a share. The stock was down 68 cents, or 12.3%, to $4.87.

Art Technology Group (ARTG Quote) was falling after the company agreed to buy eStara in a deal valued at around $48.3 million. Shares of Art Technology were losing 11 cents, or 4.2%, to $2.52.
