Bebe's Parks to Add COO Role

Bebe Stores(BEBE Quote - Cramer on BEBE - Stock Picks) said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Walter Parks will also assume the role of chief operating officer.

Parks has served as CFO since joining the women's apparel company in December 2003.

He will now be responsible for finance and accounting, investor relations, planning and allocations, distribution and logistics, information technology, real estate and construction, corporate procurement and legal matters.

"During his time with the company Walter has been a strong partner to me, and I look forward to our future success as we continue to position Bebe to become a billion-dollar brand," Greg Scott, chief executive, said in a statement.
