SVB Financial Adds Analytics Unit

SVB Financial Group(SIVB Quote), a diversified financial services firm, said it floated a new business today under the name SVB Analytics. This new venture would provide analytical and administrative services to the company's core constituencies of private, venture capital-backed companies and venture capital firms.

SVB Analytics' initial service offerings would include fair market company valuations and corporate equity tracking, the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company said.
