Anadigics(ANAD Quote) rose after the Warren, N.J., company, which provides parts for cell phones and broadband networking, received a positive write-up in Barron's this weekend. Shares climbed $1.14, or 19%, to $7.14.

Hollywood Media(HOLL Quote) gained on news the New York Times(NYT Quote) has completed the acquisition of its Baseline StudioSystems unit. Shares were up 26 cents, or 7%, to $4.01.

Centene(CNC Quote) slipped after the St. Louis-based health care company was downgraded by Stifel Nicolaus to hold from buy. The downgrade followed the company's announcement late Friday that its FirstGuard Health Plan Kansas received notification from regulators that its contract will end Dec. 31. The company said Monday that it plans to appeal the decision. Shares were trading down 54 cents, or 3.3%, to $15.97.

Morgans Hotel Group(MHGC Quote) dropped after Merrill Lynch downgraded the New York-based hotel operator to sell from neutral. Shares fell 52 cents, or 3.9%, to $12.99.
