Vanguard launched two low-cost exchange-traded funds on the American Stock Exchange Thursday that track mid-cap stock indices.
The Vanguard Mid-Cap Value ETF(VOE) tracks the Morgan Stanley Capital International U.S. Mid-Cap Value Index. The Vanguard Mid-Cap Growth ETF(VOT) tracks the MSCI US Mid-Cap Growth Index. Both indices are subsets of the MSCI U.S. Mid-Cap 450 Index. The two new funds have projected expense ratios of 0.13% each, which is well below the average of 0.34% for their respective peer groups and about half the cost of many competitors. Goldman Sachs(GS) is the specialist for the funds.TheStreet Premium Services
