Steven Spinner will take on the role of chief executive at Performance Food Group (PFGC Quote) at the beginning of October, the food distributor said Monday.
Spinner, 46, is replacing Robert Sledd, who will continue to act as Performance Food's chairman, a title he has held for the last 11 years. Previously, Spinner was president and chief operating officer. He will keep the president title along with his new designation. Based in Richmond, Va., Performance Food engages in the marketing and distribution of 66,000 food and food-related products to around 44,000 outlets in the U.S. Shares of Performance Food fell 58 cents, or 2.2%, to $25.83.- Loading Comments...
