Bebe Stores(BEBE Quote - Cramer on BEBE - Stock Picks) gained as the women's-apparel retailer posted an increase in fourth-quarter earnings. Looking ahead, Bebe expects first-quarter earnings to range between 17 cents and 21 cents a share, compared with 14 cents a year ago. Analysts are calling for earnings of 21 cents a share. Shares gained $3.15, or 17%, to $21.60.

Marvell Technology Group(MRVL Quote - Cramer on MRVL - Stock Picks) stumbled after the semiconductor designer reported preliminary second-quarter revenue that fell below Wall Street's expectations. The company said revenue increased 47% over a year ago to $574 million, but fell short of analysts' forecast of $583 million and the company's own guidance. Marvell warned earlier this week that it would report only its sales Thursday due to its ongoing options probe. Shares fell $1.68, or 8.2%, to $18.80.

Cost Plus(CPWM Quote - Cramer on CPWM - Stock Picks) sank after the home-furnishings retailer posted a second-quarter loss and guided to a hefty deficit for the third quarter. Cost Plus expects to lose about 42 cents a share for the third quarter on sales of around $217 million. For the year, Cost Plus expects to make around 30 cents a share. Analysts were looking for a 91-cent profit for the year. Shares were slumping $2.39, or 18.1%, to $10.79.

Focus Media Holding(FMCN Quote - Cramer on FMCN - Stock Picks) slipped, even though the Shanghai-based advertising network posted an increase in second-quarter earnings. Focus Media is looking for third-quarter revenue ranging from $58 million to $60 million. Analysts are calling for revenue of $59.9 million. Shares fell $4, or 6.4%, to $58.55.
