Oshkosh Truck (OSK - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) received a contract estimated to be worth $740.2 million to supply the Marine Corps with new logistics-vehicle system replacement trucks. The contract's value is based on the company providing the Marines with 1,592 trucks. The Marines can purchase a maximum of 1,900 cargo, wrecker and fifth-wheel vehicles during the next six years. Oshkosh said the vehicles are primarily used for transporting supplies such as ammunition, fuel, water and heavy equipment. The truck carries 33,000 pounds off-road. "We're proud to have met the Marine Corps' stringent requirements to produce the next generation of heavy-payload logistics vehicles with one of the world's most technologically advanced logistics platforms," Oshkosh said. Shares of Oshkosh were gaining 99 cents, or 1.9%, to $53.84.
