Eclipsys(ECLP Quote) gained Wednesday after the health-care information technology company said it signed a multiyear deal with North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. The hospital system will use Eclipsys' Sunrise Clinical Manager medical records software under the agreement. Shares of Boca Raton, Fla.-based Eclipsys gained $1.39, or 7.8%, to $19.27 in recent trading.

Ladish Co.(LDSH Quote) gained after Ryan, Beck & Co. initiated coverage of the Cudahy, Wis.-based aircraft-parts maker with an outperform rating. Shares gained $2.67, or 7.3%, to $39.36 in recent trading.

InfoSonics(IFO Quote) gained after the San Diego-based wireless handset company said its board approved a 2-for-1 stock split, payable June 19 to holders of record on June 9. After the stock split, InfoSonics' outstanding shares of common stock will increase from roughly 6.9 million shares to about 13.8 million shares, without considering any exercise or conversion of outstanding options and warrants after May 30. Shares jumped $2.54, or 10.8%, to $26.01 in recent trading.

Senomyx(SNMX Quote) surged after Bear Stearns initiated covered of the La Jolla, Calif.-based biotechnology company with an outperform rating. Shares gained $3.10, or 23.9%, to $16.09 in recent trading.

Bon-Ton Stores(BONT Quote) gained after the York, Pa.-based department store operator reaffirmed its fiscal 2006 guidance. For the first quarter, the company posted a loss of $10.8 million, or 66 cents a share, compared to a loss of $4.4 million, or 27 cents a share, a year ago. Sales increased 114% to $561.8 million. Year to date, Bon-Ton's comparable-store sales decreased 2.9%. One analyst was looking for the company to post a loss of 42 cents a share on revenue of $567.40 million. The company said it still expects full-year earnings of $2.15 to $2.35 a share. Bon-Ton Stores gained $2.03, or 8.3%, to $26.45 in recent trading.
