Stericycle(SRCL), a medical waste management service provider, acquired Sterile Technologies Group, a U.K.-based waste firm, for about $131 million.
Illinois-based Stericycle paid $114 million in cash and assumed $17 million of debt. Stericycle said the deal should add 2 cents of earnings and $46 million in revenue this year. The company forecast earnings of $2.41 to $2.47 a share for the year on Feb. 7.
