Revenue increased 27% from a year ago to $12.8 million. Total operating expenses for both periods included professional fees incurred in connection with the WeddingChannel.com litigation. Shares of The Knot increased 73 cents or 5.23% to $14.70 in recent trading.
Shares of SI International (SINT Quote) were rising after the Reston, Va., IT-services company said 2006 earnings should be in line with the consensus expectation and that revenue should beat the forecast. The company projected revenue of between $470 million and $476 million and earnings of $1.63 to $1.67. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call are expecting a profit of $1.66 a share. For the fiscal first quarter, SI International forecast revenue of $101 million to $105 million. SI expects earnings of 35 cents to 37 cents a share for the quarter.
