Mad Money Mailbag
Editor's note: The following are questions received from viewers of "Mad Money," seen every day at 6 p.m. EST on CNBC.
With the proposal to freeze the pension at Alcoa(AA - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr), should I load up now and wait for the stock to catch up with the other metals producers? -- Ben from California James J. Cramer: This company could announce it found the cure for cancer and I still wouldn't want to own the stock. Seriously, Alcoa is a serial disappointer, and I would suggest that viewers avoid the stock as long as the current management team is in place.
It's been difficult to locate information on Suntech Power(STP - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr). Do you still think this is a good stock to own? -- Gregor from New York James J. Cramer: I like the China solar play's prospects very much, but am reticent to pay up for the stock, which is already up 43% on the year. Should Suntech pull back toward the low-$30's, I would consider giving it another look.
