A Wrinkle in Botox
Want to get an edge on Wall Street? Then turn the channel away from financial news, Jim Cramer told "Mad Money" viewers on Tuesday. Wall Street TVs are stuck in the financial news ghetto, which is why the pros don't know that Oprah Winfrey has revealed the next great play on the artificial youth movement. On her "look younger, live longer show," doctors demonstrated the newest in antiwrinkle injections: Restylane. Cramer said it's superior to Botox in every way, which is why it's time to buy Restylane's maker Medicis Pharmaceutical(MRX Quote - Cramer on MRX - Stock Picks). Oprah, one of the country's most influential people, is pushing the treatment to a population of vanity-driven baby boomers willing to live outside of their means to look good, Cramer said. It costs $700 a shot, and it takes three to four shots a year to keep your skin smooth. The same play worked for Allergan(AGN Quote - Cramer on AGN - Stock Picks) and Botox, which is a neurotoxin that can result in a frozen, mask-like face. But Restylane occurs naturally in the body, and no one should be allergic to it. That's another reason why Cramer believes it's time to make some money on an antiwrinkle product on the horizon. On Spec
One of the ways to keep investors truly interested the market is through speculation, said Cramer.
Plus, he said, "When you buy really risky stocks, you can get big returns."
Cramer mentioned three $2-stocks he believes could be a great big risk/big reward field bet.
"It's just like at the racetrack when you buy the whole field," he said, because it's not safe to buy just one. Any one of them could quadruple or go to zero, said Cramer, so he urged viewers to make it a field bet to distribute the risk.
