Corrections Corp. of America (CXW) made an important executive appointment this week. The big prison operator named Anthony M. DaDante to a newly created role overseeing human resources, compensation and benefits. "I believe that Tony's vast experience in all aspects of human resources management fits well into our existing management structure," said CEO John Ferguson. "His leadership and strategic vision will assist us in achieving our goal of operating the highest quality adult corrections company in the United States." DaDante's title? Chief people officer, of course. What you really need in the jail business is a good people person.
