Bob Evans Farms(BOBE) said same-store sales fell 5.8% in April compared with a year ago. For the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings of 16 cents a share, while for the full year 2005, the company forecasts earnings of $1.04 a share. Analysts were expecting earnings of 22 cents a share for the fourth quarter and $1.11 a share for the full year, according to Thomson First Call. The stock was down 81 cents, or 3.63%, to $21.50 in after-hours trading.
ECollege(ECLG) said it earned $600,000, or 3 cents a share, for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with $64,000, or breakeven, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $23.8 million. Excluding certain items, the company earned $2 million, or 9 cents a share. Analysts expected earnings of 9 cents a share on revenue of $23.6 million. For the second quarter, the company expects to earn 3 cents to 4 cents on revenue in the range of $24.1 million to $24.5 million. Adjusted earnings are expected to be 7 cents to 8 cents a share, which is below Wall Street's forecast of 12 cents. The stock was down 98 cents, or 9.11%, to $9.78 in after-hours trading. Infocrossing(IFOX) it earned $2.4 million, or 11 cents a share, for the first quarter ended March 31, versus $775,000, or 5 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $37.5 million. Analysts expected profits of 11 cents a share on revenue of $37 million, according to Thomson First Call. For the second quarter, the company expects earnings of 11 cents a share on revenue of $37.5 million. For the full year, it expects to earn 72 cents to 74 cents a share on revenue in the range of $167 million to 170 million. Wall Street was expecting profits of 16 cents a share on revenue of $40 million for the second quarter and 71 cents a share on sales of $165.7 million for the full year.
