Bristol-Myers Squibb Restates Earnings Again
Fourth-quarter earnings were restated to $506 million, or 26 cents a share, vs. the previously reported $429 million, or 22 cents a share. Full-year earnings were restated to $3.11 billion, or $1.59 a share, up from $2.95 billion, or $1.51 a share.
In early 2003, Bristol-Myers announced a significant restating of earnings between 1999 and 2002. Monday's announcement caused an adjustment in that previous restatement -- a gain of 3 cents per share for 2002; a decrease of 9 cents for 2001; a cut of 7 cents for 2000; and a gain of 12 cents for 1999.TheStreet Premium Services
