Alert for Last-Minute Tax Filers

Even if you still haven't begun to tackle your taxes (hey, you still have a month!), you should at least make sure you have the appropriate paperwork.

By now, you should have all your tax documents -- including all your W-2s and Form 1099s. Be sure to check the numbers. Are all your trades included on your 1099B? Did you really make six-figures this year? Did you get 1099s for all the freelance work you did? Analyze these forms now because the issuers have time to send you a corrected version.
