Can I Deduct My Health Insurance Premium?

If you're self-employed and your business had a net profit for the year, you may be able to deduct 70% of your health insurance premium on line 31 of Form 1040.

Big Bonus: In 2003, your entire premium -- that's right, 100% -- could be deductible. But if you were covered by your spouse's employer health plan, forget it.
