Gap Replaces Finance Chief With Disney Executive

Gap said Byron Pollitt is joining the company as chief financial officer, succeeding Heidi Kunz, who has resigned.

Pollitt, 51, joins the company from Walt Disney, where he had worked since 1990 in various senior-level roles. He most recently served as finance chief for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

Pollitt will report to President and Chief Executive Paul Pressler, who is also a former executive of Disney.

Pollitt will be responsible for corporate finance and strategy, as well as information technology.
