Retalix CEO Shaked: Fujitsu contract seen to contribute $16m revenues in 2003
Retalix (Nasdaq:RTLX) (RTLX Quote) expects its agreement with Fujitsu to contribute $16 million to revenues in 2003, the Israeli software maker's chief executive told TheMarker today.
Retalix on Tuesday preannounced expected third-quarter revenues of more than $20 million, comprising 30% growth from the corresponding quarter of last year. "The agreement we signed with Fujitsu is expected to contribute almost $2 million in the third quarter, in compliance with our expectations," Retalix chief executive Barry Shaked told TheMarker. "We still believe that in 2003, that agreement will contribute revenue of $16 million." During the third quarter, Retalix signed three new contracts," Shaked added, saying the company could not disclose the identidy of the customers yet. For the third quarter of 2001, Retalix which supplies software to retailers reported revenues of $15.1 million. The company, which is dual-listed on Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, also announced that it expects to earn 13 cents per share, in keeping with the consensus call of Wall Street analysts.
