Longer-Term Treasuries Move Higher

 

U.S. government notes and bonds were having a better day than equities, as most Treasury issues were higher.

The two-year note was flat at 98 31/32, yielding 3.55%. The five-year was ahead by 4/32 to 95 4/32, with a yield of 4.67%. The 10-year Treasury note was up 6/32 to 96 24/32, yielding 5.30%, and the 30-year bond was gaining 4/32 to yield 5.71%.
