Dress Barn Names Top Lawyer

Dress Barn (DBRN Quote) named Gene L. Wexler general counsel.

Wexler will report to CEO David Jaffe, Dress Barn said. Wexler previously served as general counsel for Del Laboratories.

"Gene brings an extensive background in all legal matters with a number of well-established companies and legal firms," Jaffe said. "We are pleased to strengthen our existing management team with such a talented executive."

On Wednesday, Dress Barn fell 23 cents to $24.04.
