Pepco Holdings(POM - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) got a contract from the National Geographic Society to supply renewable energy credits to its headquarters in Washington. Under the contract agreement, the Arlington, Va.-based company is to supply more than 39 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy certificates for 29 months. Pepco Energy Services, which is supplying electricity to the National Geographic Society's headquarters since January 2005, will provide green e-certified renewable energy certificates from Sterling Planet, representing wind-generating resources in the United States, the company said.
It guides full-year earnings higher.
The stock falls 3%.
