Alliant Energy Raises Dividend

Alliant Energy (LNT Quote) raised its quarterly dividend to 28.75 cents from 26.25 cents.

The Wisconsin-based energy-services provider said the new dividend is payable on Feb. 15, 2006, to shareholders of record on Jan. 31, 2006.

The company's stock rose 14 cents, to close at $29.10 on Tuesday.
