Amgen Gets FDA Nod for Arthritis Drug Dosage

Amgen(AMGN Quote) and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals said Monday that the Food and Drug Administration has approved a once-weekly dosage of the arthritis drug Enbrel.

Enbrel is approved to treat moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis in patients with psoriatic arthritis and active ankylosing spondylitis, the company said.

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals is a division of Wyeth(WYE Quote).
