Jury Finds Knicks Harassed Exec

A federal jury ruled that Cablevision's (CVC Quote) Madison Square Garden sexually harassed a former executive of the company's New York Knicks basketball team.

The jury found Isiah Thomas, coach of the Knicks, and Cablevision chief James Dolan sexually harassed Anucha Browne Sanders. Her suit, filed after she was fired last year, sought $10 million in damages.

Tuesday's finding comes just a day after the judge overseeing the case received a note making clear jurors had decided harassment had taken place. The note said the jury was still weighing whether Thomas and MSG should pay punitive damages. That issue remains unresolved, according to media reports Tuesday.

"I remain confident in the man I am," Thomas said in a brief appearance outside the courthouse.

Cablevision fell 16 cents to $34.90.
