Buy DuPont (DD Quote) Jim Cramer said on CNBC's "Stop Trading!" segment Friday.

"It's not an expensive stock. I like it very much," Cramer said. He also likes Dow Chemical (DOW Quote) for its dividend yield. "I like stocks that are yielding well," he said. "Everything I'm hearing says rates have to come down, so I like the 5% yield very much."

On news of a government bailout for harried broker Bear Stearns (BSC Quote), Cramer advised investors to look at the company's debt. "You have to believe the debt will be money good," he said. "It's senior to the common stock."

Asked whether Bear could survive, Cramer said, "The book value is X. ... It could be in a takeunder. This is not an FDIC insured business." He said he likes the company and doesn't want to put the final nail in the coffin.

"If you want to speculate, there's a lot of senior debt being seriously sold off right now." He advised against buying the stock itself. "Let's get that whoosh," before thinking about buying, he said.

At the time of publication, Cramer had no positions in any of the stocks mentioned.
