Sara Lee Foods Names Kopriva CEO of U.S. Division

Sara Lee (SLE Quote) named Robert Kopriva president and chief executive of the Sara Lee Foods U.S. division on Tuesday.
Kopriva, 50, most recently served as president of Sara Lee Foods U.S. supply chain operations. He will now lead the Sara Lee meats and bakery operations in the U.S. The units manage brands such as
Hillshire Farm and
Jimmy Dean. He joined the company in 1981 and will continue reporting to William Geoppinger, the chief executive of Sara Lee Foods.
Shares of Sara Lee, which is based in Chicago, lost 12 cents, or 0.6%, to $21.42 in recent trading on the
New York Stock Exchange.
