Expedia (EXPE) reached an agreement with Northwest Airlines (NWAC) and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) of the Netherlands to continue acting as an agent for the carriers, and do so without adding a surcharge to the published price of airline tickets.

The terms won't be material to Expedia's financial results. The online travel service didn't disclose the financial details of the agreement. Northwest and KLM have a code-sharing pact.

Separately, Expedia said it would offer special negotiated rates with 20 airlines, serving both domestic and international destinations.

Shares of Expedia lost 13 cents, or 1%, to $12.88 in recent Nasdaq activity.
