Amazon Drops 14.8% on eToys Sales Worries

Amazon.com (AMZN Quote) was down 14.8% in midmorning, falling in sympathy with other online retailers in the wake of a warning about sluggish holiday sales from eToys (ETYS Quote).

Barnes&Noble.com (BNBN Quote) was also down, falling 8.3% to a 52-week low of $1.72 after Goldman Sachs cut revenue estimates. Goldman also lowered its revenue outlook for Ashford.com (ASFD Quote). Ashford fell 45.5%. eToys, meanwhile, was continuing to get hammered, down 72.7% after dipping to a low of 25 cents.
