NEW YORK (AP) ⿿ Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Hecla Mining Co. rose $.02 or .4 percent, to $4.93.
Pan American Silver Corp. fell $.05 or .3 percent, to $17.21.
Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.14 or 1.3 percent, to $10.81.
Silver Wheaton rose $.36 or 1.1 percent, to $32.60.
