MBIA Inc. rose 16.2 percent to $13.00.

Assured Guaranty Ltd. rose 9.0 percent to $21.87.

Vaalco Energy Inc. rose 8.1 percent to $6.03.

Fabrinet rose 8.0 percent to $18.17.

Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc. rose 7.9 percent to $10.20.

Gabelli Utility Trust rose 7.8 percent to $6.66.

Radian Group Inc. rose 6.8 percent to $8.91.

Silvercorp Metals Inc. rose 5.8 percent to $9.42.

China Educ Alli rose 5.6 percent to $5.51.

Stoneridge Inc. rose 5.1 percent to $12.28.
