NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top internet companies were up at the close of trading:
Akamai Technologies rose $.22 or 1.1 percent, to $20.53.
Amazon rose $1.37 or 1.7 percent, to $82.96.
eBay rose $.16 or .9 percent, to $17.28.
Google rose $6.03 or 1.5 percent, to $420.09.
Yahoo rose $.46 or 3.0 percent, to $15.80.
