CF Industries Extends Deadline To Exchange Shares

DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) CF Industries Holdings Inc. said Friday it has extended the deadline of its exchange offer for all outstanding shares of Terra Industries Inc. until July 10.

The offer was scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m. EST on June 26. It has now been extended to 5:00 p.m. EST on July 10.

Morgan Stanley and Rothschild are acting as financial advisers and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is acting as legal counsel to CF Industries.

CF Industries Holdings is the holding company for CF Industries Inc., which produces and distributes nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer products.

Shares of CF Industries lost 5 cents to $74.94 in after-hours trading, after shares added 66 cents to close at $74.99.
