Akamai Technologies fell $.55 or 2.7 percent, to $20.17.

Amazon fell $1.07 or 1.3 percent, to $81.58.

eBay fell $.12 or .7 percent, to $16.97.

Google rose $.01 or percent, to $415.17.

Yahoo fell $.30 or 1.9 percent, to $15.30.
